The three MOQ tiers
MOQ at ZHONGHE is not one number. It ranges from 500 to 2,000 units and which end of the range applies is decided by how much of the product is standard.
An existing catalog model in a finish already running on the line, packed in stock packaging, changes nothing in production, so a first order can start from about 500 units. Adding a printed logo or a color change adds a setup and a masterbatch run, which is why that tier typically starts from about 1,000 units. Custom packaging, custom colors across several SKUs, or a new cartridge configuration each add their own minimum from the print shop or the media supplier, which is where the 2,000-unit figure comes from.

How to keep a first order at the 500-unit tier
Choose one existing model and one finish already in production, because each color is a separate molding run. Use stock packaging or a stock box with a label rather than a printed color box. Keep the cartridge media to a standard blend. Add the refill SKU and the printed box on the second order, once the head sells.
Split variants raise the effective minimum: 500 units across five colors is five small runs, not one. The same total across one model and one color is a single run, which is what makes the low tier possible.
When the quantity is smaller than 500
Send the model and the quantity to [email protected]. Some standard chrome and white items already in production can be run smaller; others cannot. The factory replies with a straight answer and, where useful, a staged plan: a smaller first run on stock packaging, then a full run with custom packaging at the 2,000-unit tier.
